Kenaston Mayor and Council:
The Village of Kenaston would like to welcome the new Mayor and new Council to the Village of Kenaston council chambers. Council members were sworn in and took their Oaths at the first meeting on November 14th. The Village is introducing Mayor Mike Menzies and Councillors Leon Tomlenovich, Florence Greke, Brad Owen and Mike Hertz. The first meeting established open communication, Village processes and got everyone familiar with the previous and current financial statements.
The Village of Kenaston would like to encourage village residents to approach the Mayor or Councillors to discuss ideas and concerns which will be addressed at Village council meetings. Your privacy in regards to ideas and concerns will be respected within Village Chambers.
The Village of Kenaston is excited for the year ahead. Meetings and discussions have already started in regards to WaterWolf, the Water Security Agency and training days for new councilors. From the Village we wish all of you a safe and happy holiday season.

What a great success. Thank you to all the vendors and everyone who came to the supper to support Kenaston Parks and Rec. Thank you to the Kenaston Small Businesses and residents that purchased Co-op gift cards to help purchase the turkeys, hams and other groceries. A big thank you to the wonderful residents that donated buns, salads, potatoes, pickles and the delicious desserts. You made the meal very special with your generous homemade donations. A very special thank you to everyone that helped set up, cook the meal, carve turkeys, and clean up. A event cannot happen without people like all of you and I truly thank you for all your help.

Fundraising: The Kenaston Community Recreational Facility Fundraisers are looking for donations and volunteers for future fundraisers. We need to raise enough money to operate our Rink, Pool and Hall, which is close to $100,000 a year. We need everyone in our community to support the events through attendance, volunteerism and donations to even come close to raising enough money for facility upgrades and operation. If you can help in any way we can write you a taxable receipt as the Kenaston Community Recreation Board is a non-profit organization that is made up of numerous volunteers from the community.
