The Village of Kenaston has been approved for funding under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program for a new Lift Station replacing the existing lift station located by the Kenaston School. The current council would like to send out a big “Thank You” to the previous council for the dedication and hard work put towards getting this infrastructure upgraded for our community and applying for a grant to help with the financial aspect of such an important project. This project will improve and increase the pump capacity of the community wastewater to the lagoon. The Federal government is paying $174,200.00 towards the project.
