The Village of Kenaston is seeking a motivated and reliable Summer Student to assist with municipal operations.
Position Overview:
This seasonal position begins in May, with hours in May and June varying based on the successful candidate’s availability and operational needs. Hours will increase to near full-time in early July, once the school year has ended, and will continue at that level throughout the summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn Mowing and Weed Trimming
- Grounds Keeping/Public Area Maintenance
- Assisting the Village Foreman with daily tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to perform outdoor physical labour
- Reliable and punctual
- A valid driver’s license is preferred and may be given preference, but isn’t required
Additional Information:
- Hours will vary, with increased availability required beginning in July
- Wage to be determined based on experience
