Originally called Bonnington Springs by the early settlers, Kenaston was renamed in 1905 to celebrate Saskatchewan’s admittance to Canada. At that time the area was settled predominatelly by Croatian, Slovak and Scandinavian farmers giving us a proud history as a hard working and creative community. We appreciate and value the rural way of life and our motto “Heritage, Spirit, Vision” speaks to the character of our residents. See our History Page.
